I won't go into details here, but a friend of mine had a medical emergency late last week. It wasn't me, and I don't have much responsibility to that end, but it most definitely changed the landscape of my weekend. She's slowly on the mend and just needs time (and surgical intervention when she can tolerate it) at this point.
The rest of the weekend I worked and worked and worked on my couture piece and it's fairly finished. Just last-minute things that need to be done with the model actually wearing it. Here's a sneak peek:
