I'm not sure which is worse, the pain of having something jammed under your fingernail or the pain of having some horses ass art teacher Simon Cowell you in front of a class.
If it is any consolation, I have spent the last 6 months preparing for an art event that came and went and I sold not one single piece...even after I marked things down by nearly half...

You have my complete sympathy.  Why does this stuff always come in threes?  But, as Fred Astaire said to Ginger Rogers (or was it the other way around?), "Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again!"  Remember, life is full of opportunities as well as challenges - I'm sure you'll be fine.

Oy!  Sorry to hear about your injuries and art school travails.  I suffered no flesh wounds, but I also had a meltdown last night that measured about 6.5 on the meltdown scale.  Ugh!  Not pretty.  What doesn't kill you makes you stronger or some sort of rot like that ...
