Again with the music...
My local independently-owned music store was unable to obtain a copy of Betchadupa's 2004 release, "Aiming For Your Head" and I was forced to buy it through a popular on-line auction site from Australia. I was so pleased with the service from the on-line seller, I might just buy some more Aussie music from him.
I'm quite pleased with the album, too. There's a video of the single, "My Army of Birds and Gulls" here:

The audio and video don't sync, but it's still a visual and aural treat. If you know me, you know I love anything Finn, and young Liam seems to be having no trouble establishing himself with Betchadupa and will have a solo release ("I'll Be Lightning") later this summer. Between Liam and the new Crowded House release ("Time on Earth"), I'll have plenty of Finn to listen to for some time. My apologies to the other members of Betchadupa and the revised Crowded House (oh, but I especially love Nick Seymour), but my Finn obsession is not going away any time soon.
Different Music:
As I expand my musical tastes, I realize my answer to "What type of music do you like?" has changed over the years. Substantially. While I can't say I agree with his opinion, I DO love funny people, and Bob Newhart is one of them:
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means "put down". Bob Newhart
